Here is my car again. 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Just got done putting in some LED lights under the dash and it turned out wicked awesome! So i thought this photo was long over due! I was on my way home from school, threw the tripod in the backseat, got the remote trigger and began my way home taking some photos. Very pleased with the result! I was getting ready to leave the steel mill from taking the previous shot when I stopped and took one last look at the sunset. This shot was from a old steel mill and it has a nice hill that overlooks everything and most nights there is a pretty cool sunset and I’m a huge sucker for sunsets. I really like this shot due to the sunset colors and the rim light around my car. I have never done anything like this before and can say I will most definitely be doing it again! I love the sound of water running and falling, splashing. It was such a nice relaxing shoot. Just wish I had a ND filter or something to stop a lot of that light from coming in so I could of slowed the shutter down a lot more, but you live you learn :D I was pleased with the result. Once again my race bike. Motocross is such a different sport. I played baseball, football, basketball etc. But nothing comes close to being as physical demanding as Motocross. My first race, I couldn’t walk the next day. I couldn’t believe how every muscle in my body hurt! And I thought I was in shape too! Boy was I wrong ha-ha. Lighting. Very simple. “Big Bertha” 50in soft box. I love the effect from this. I shot my ISO all the way up to 6400! I love the “Grainy” look and feel. This is my cousin Josh. He was in need of some New Updated photos for personal use and I jumped on the opportunity to get out and start shooting some more. Couldn’t hurt right? I had about 120 photos to go through and find the best 5. Seems almost impossible! But I did it. I narrowed down 120 photos to the best 5, and this is probably my favorite of those 5. One. I love black and white. You will hear me say this a lot! and two the pose, almost looks like he knows what hes doing. Looking off into the distance and the strong stance. IMO works very well here. Lighting. This was all done once again with two small speed lights. Well I guess the sb900 isn’t considered small, but oh well its a speed light. Came across a railroad crossing and noticed that the rain hitting the tracks was making a hot steam and thought it deserved a photo! This is a part of his senior portraits and we went with a very different edgy kind of photo. Used a charcoal paper for the background. Used my sb800 and sb900 to light this.
